Overview
A demo website for a tile showroom: eight collections by material, bathrooms as complete solutions, an inspiration gallery, a before and after view, a selection guide and a programme for architects and designers.
Starting point
A tile showroom has hundreds of products, but the customer arrives with one room in mind. A website organised as a catalogue by product code helps nobody: the customer gets lost and the seller receives an enquiry without a single useful detail.
Idea
A website that guides the customer the way they think: by material and by room, with large interior photographs instead of isolated squares. A dark, editorial background lets the tiles be the main motif and the key words in headings are set in italics.

Structure
The collections Marble, Stone, Concrete, Wood, Terrazzo, Monochrome, Luxury and Outdoor, then bathrooms as a set, inspiration, a selection guide, the showroom and contact.

Design
An almost black background, warm light typography, large views of spaces and a calm grid. Italics in headings as a signature.
- 03
Development
A before and after view of a realised space, a guide that narrows the choice, a dedicated section for architects and designers and a quote form that asks right away for what the seller needs.
Design
Views
Everything on the site serves the photography of spaces. The text is short, the headings large and the collections are distinguishable by material at a glance. The invitation to visit the showroom is always present, because tiles are chosen in person in the end.
Result
A working demo website showing how a showroom with a large range can look calm and luxurious while the customer reaches the material they want in three clicks.
