Overview
A demo website for a custom furniture studio: kitchens, built in wardrobes, bedrooms and living rooms, a seven step process, 3D visualisation next to the finished piece, projects and Instagram.
Starting point
Custom furniture is sold on trust. The customer cannot see the product until it is made, so they need to see what the process looks like, who runs it and what finished projects look like. A website that is only a gallery of kitchens does not solve that.
Idea
A website built around the process: from consultation and measuring, through design, 3D visualisation and choice of materials, to production and installation. Every step is explained and the 3D view sits next to a photo of the finished space so you can see how closely they match.
Process
Space made to your measure.
- 01
Structure
An introduction with a clear call to action, solution categories, the seven steps of work, 3D visualisation, projects, Instagram and contact.
- 02
Design
A warm beige background, dark typography, plenty of space and interior photography as the main content. Minimal and precise, like the craft itself.
- 03
Development
A numbered process from 01 to 07, a comparison of the 3D view and the finished piece, an Instagram gallery and forms for a quote and for a project.
Design
Views
Nothing distracts from the furniture. The categories are clear, the process is visually guided by numbers and the call to action is the same across the site: request a quote or request a project.
Result
A demo showing how a craft business can explain its work without long texts, so the customer understands what awaits them from the first conversation to installation.
Live site
The demo is a real website. Open it in a new tab and try every page.
Concept project. The brand is fictional and the website was made to show what a solution for this industry could look like.
